Re: What did Harrah's use it for?

I worked for Harrah's corporate Finance (when Holiday Inn took them over) in Reno back in the early 1980s. I also remember the Harrah's gift shop that was located outside the casino in an old shop on one of the streets. I don't remember if it was first or second street, just off of Virginia Street. But I do remember that the store sold home poker sets in the colors that people know about. From what I remember management saying was that Harrah's discontinued selling them because some people were selling them to the bus patrons as real chips.
