Trip report part 2

Despite 2 days of threatening rain (which never came) I was able to look at most of the sales between Lexington and Covington, KY on the Hwy 127 flea market. That is a lot of sales. Most open areas have 10-20 dealers set up. I was planning on doing the whole thing on Thursday but only made it half way. Got up at 4:30 AM so I could get to Lexington by 8:00 and by 4:30 PM I was seeing double and burned to a crisp (thats what happens when you drive with the top down, its 90 degrees outside and your SPF 30 isn't working anymore.) Drove to Lawrenceburg, IN so I could visit Grand Victoria and Argosy casinos. Grand Victoria is still pretty dead and Argosy is packed. In my last report I think I forgot to mention that all IN casinos are now dockside so no more cruises. However Argosy is so busy that at times you can't get in until someone else leaves the boat. They are also the only IN casino that still charges an entrance fee. Of course there were no new chips at either casino (they are still using the ones that they opened with years ago). So what did I find during this two day marathon? Not much! I did find the plastic GE poker chips on the first day. I found a yellow SS (Sandwich Shop, Neport) chip yesterday. But the best find was a token I have never seen before. It is a $5 Grand Opening token from the Grand Casino Avoyelles in a plastic case. Looks like something given out to VIP's on opening day. I also got the 2 roulettes which was hard since the Grand Victoria was so dead no one was playing and Argosy had mostly $10 and $15 minimnum tables. I have a few of the roulettes to trade and I will trade the set of 4 GE chips for any $2.50 chip if you are interested.
