Your 20-chips and $1500 remind me of the Harrah's Club Reno $5 chips where there were approx. 20 good pieces. The first buyer gets the chip for $100... and before the Silver Dollar Show (Las Vegas) was over, the chip was selling for twice that amount (200-bucks... and stayed at that level for a while -- what a killing ). Then, I decide to enter the chip in the club auctoin; pow... $660. Along comes eBay: $700-$800-$1,000 (private sales: $1,200) and the last one I had did $1,500.

So, what to do? Buy early or wait for the dump?
