My boss and her daughter were shopping a few days before Christmas. They returned to her daughter's house, and carried the daughter's purchases inside. The jeep was running, as my boss wasn't staying, but she decided to take a "potty break". She went back out, and the jeep and the gifts she'd purchased were gone! It took about 10-12 days to get it back, and there was a crunch from a telephone pole in it. She had to cancel all credit cards, replace all I.D., put a freeze on her checking account, etc. To top it off, when it was recovered she had to pay "storage fees" to get it out of the impound lot!!!

Knowing it could have been worse doesn't help you a BIT, and you have every right to be and growl!! So take Kerry's advice and kick something soft....that'll help more than anything!
(Personally, I'd take satisfaction knowing they didn't like the tapes!! At least you thwarted that!)
