Went about 11 AM this morning. Got 20 GOs from a nice guy at the cage. He said he thought there was a limit, so he decided it was only for opening day but that he could sell me only 20 today. Went back later to another window and was told strict limit of 2. Tables were very nice about selling $1s but couldn't get them at all at the cage.
One interesting note, at least to me, is that the coin buckets say Grand Opening, Harrah's Rincon Casino, San Diego. Picked up a few if anyone wants them.
Matches are Harrah's Rincon San Diego. No Harrahs napkins or swizzle sticks. Buffet and coffee shop line tickets say Harrahs San Diego. Pick up a ticket at the host/hostess area and plat until your number comes up, visible on several screens.
Buffet was ok but overpriced at $9.99 for lunch.
Live at the Oasis was Elvis Impersonators, five in a row and VERY loud.
Parking was easy and there were greeters to direct you to the better parking. Floor personnel were well-trained and had good attitudes, despite running from machine to machine. Dealers very friendly. Lots of help from corporate Harrahs to help the transition.

By 4 PM, it was 90% full at the tables and machines, so it will be a big test this weekend.
