Jim- I know I don't know you, but your post took me back to my life about 8 months ago. A family loss, very scary medical news, and a lot of other minor things that can only be called "minor" when compared to those two, had all piled up so high that I finally looked at my wife and said "You know, I really used to enjoy life. Is that over? Have we just gotten to that age where life is no longer fun? Because it's not fun anymore, and it doesn't seem like it's getting better."

Thank God it passed. The sun does rise again, and one day I just realized that I was finally taking pleasure in the simple act of being alive (and some of the more complicated acts that I probably shoudln't get into here).

Maybe you're experienced enough to already know that things will get better. But if, like I did, you are seriosuly wodering, I just want to let you knwo that they do.
