Back from Saratoga Trip . . . Chip Find vbg

Well it was a good trip to the Saratoga Racetrack. Very busy day there . . . Big Race was the 75th Whitney.

Joe Delengyel had a good day, I believe there were only two races he didn't cash a winning ticket on. I wasn't so lucky but a couple of wins at the end of the day helped limit my losses.

But most exciting was my new chip acquistion. A dealer I know up in Saratoga acquired a few of these chips from the Kentucky Club (20 Phila Street Saratoga Springs) from a person who says they are a relative of the former owner Allie F. White (I have a matchbook from the Kentucky Club which display the name A.F. White). He tells me that he bought all that the guy had ten of these white ones (all in pretty bad shape -- several only were hotstamped on one side - I don't mean that you couldn't read the stamp- I mean it wasn't there). He showed me six of them he had available for sale and I pulled out the two best. He also has a single blue one which he is keeping for his collection. I don't know if there are any records on these chips, but I'd love to be able to find a record which confirmed the ID.
