I stayed at NY NY during the convention. It was great. We were on the 33rd floor of the Chrysler building. The Roller Coaster was right below us and we heard little noise. It closes at 11pm and doesn't open until 11am or noon. Who sleeps in Vegas anyway? Great service, friendly employees and I got shows, smokes and room for 6 days all comped for my play.
