. . . Moving!

Several people have emailed me wondering where the heck I have been so I thought I would post. My mother-in-law can no longer live alone and has been living with Gail and I here in Beaumont. She has a large home on 2 acres in a heavily wooded area in Lumberton, an area that Gail and I have been considering moving to. As a treat for her we took her to her home to stay for a weekend and seeing how she perked up (being "home") we decided to just all move into her house. Now how does one manage to merge 30+ years of junk with 30+ more years of junk and still have room to live? We have been moving sorting and throwing away, with no end in sight! My late father-in-law had a 15'x 20' tool shop in the back that Coco & I have commandeered it for an “Office”, cleared out and have a contractor finishing out with heat & A/C, computer connections, cable TV, and 2 line telephones (Contractor instructions: Outhouse on the outside, Penthouse on the inside). I have a door and Coco has a door, everyone else is by invitation only. Haha I come home at night eyes blurred, back sore, and fingers numb thank God the rest is up to the contractors! Sad thing is I am going from a cable modem to 28.8, another huge casualty of moving.

Upside is I am off work for about six weeks and there is no rush to get out of my present house. I am beginning to think it is the last six weeks I have to live because this is surely gonna kill me before it's over!
