Chip Collection Insurance?

As I am about to renew my home contents insurance policy, I thought I'd advise the insurance company of my 'still relatively new but growing fast' chip collection. Unfortunately, as many of you are aware, I live in the UK and unfortunately they refused to insure my collection without me having an independant valuation (as they would with, say, a coin or stamp collection) and all the chips being kept in a lockable cupboard. I can deal with locking up the chips, but as I cannot get a valuation because I'm not aware of anyone being able to do one (even in the US, let alone all the way over the Atlantic!) I'm stuck. (At this point, please no-one suggest a slabbing /grading / valuation service!!!)

My question is, as chip collecting is much more common in the US, I assume that many of you have your collections insured. Can you let me know who with? I'm looking for international companies that may therefore have representation in the UK, or maybe a specialist company that would be willing to insure my collection seperately. The value is low compared to what I'm sure some of those large collections are worth, but big enough for me to not want to take the risk of having no insurance!

Any help gratefully appreciated. Jason
