No...but how 'bout POGS???
In Response To: Re: 1968 Flamingo Room key ()

Every year over the past ten years, I go to Las Vegas with three high school friends (Burbank High, Class of '73). Right when I first started collecting casino chips about five years ago, I went to one of these friends' house and was watching his two boys playing POGS (remember that??). The "POGS" they were using were old casino chips gathered by my friend in the mid-seventies. I didn't think much of it back then but I do remember that he had a fruitcake tin with about thirty or forty of these chips. He gave me one as a "joke" birthday present this past weekend -- a nice $1 Landmark. When I told him an approxiamte value on his "gag gift", he flipped & then went on a search for the others!! vbg
