In following-up on the Who chip, I was told by someone in the cage that they are doing a count on all WHO chips right now, and intend to destroy them all. There may be a commemorative chip released in the future, if Entwistle's family agrees.

I realize there is a Hard Rock rep on this board, and I will certainly defer to him on this subject. I just want to share info as I get it.

BTW- I think i've made it clear here, but I'd like to repeat: while I'm mildly interested in this chip as a newbie collector, my obsessiveness is based on my job. As a music journalist, thsi Who show and all things surrounding it, have been a major story for me all week. So in the wake of this INCREDIBLY TRAGIC music story, I am following up this angle as I follow up a dozen others. My schedule is so busy following this story, and I've spent so much time at the Hard Rock lately, I wouldn't be there tomorrow even if chips were on sale. I assure you, I will not have this level of interest in other chips, unless they coincide to a MAJOR news story .
