Re: Photoshop 7.0 Rules
In Response To: Photoshop 7.0 Rules ()

I use Photoshop also. It is an expensive program but very powerful. The photo below was created on Photoshop 5. That is what I have on my notebook. I use a Mac G4 for Video Editing with Final Cut Pro and that computer has Photoshop 7 on it. There are some really nice improvements in it.

As for the problem, I would check and see if, as was mentioned, I think, you can use a different photo or graphic software. Your computer might have a Microsoft program like "Picture It" or "Microsoft Imager" ... Or your printer might have a program like my HP which has a program called PhotoSmart. One of those programs might allow you to access photos from the scanner and save them as .jpg . Look under File for Acquire or Import or something similar. then see if there is a selection for TWAIN device. That would probably be your scanner. Then you might be given a selection for Save As, JPEG... You also might browse around in your scanner software and see if there is a selection for Preferences or ,Properties or Settings... Look around there and see if there is a selection for file type. That might allow you to save the photos as .jpg . Another possibility is that when your scan is finished, instead of ,Save As, you might see if there is a selection for Export, Save a copy or other selections. One of those might allow for a .jpg . In Photoshop, for example, it likes to save it's files as .psd files. Especially when they include graphics, titles or are multi-layered. In those cases you have to select a selection of "Save a Copy" instead of "Save As". I have also seen other programs where you had to save through Export in order to save as certain formats.

Hope these ideas are helpful.
