Very few of the casinos at either location are within walking distance like in Las Vegas. In Tunica the casinos are in 4 different locations. the Grand is by itself, Hollywood is next to Harrahs and Sams Town and Isle of Capri are about 8 blocks away but basically inaccessible without transportation. Gold Strike, Horseshoe and Sheraton are about 10 miles away but next to each other. And Ballys is also by itself as is Fitzgeralds. In a word - bring a car. Biloxi is similiar. There are casinos scattered around Biloxi and then some in Gulfport about 10 miles away. In a word - bring a car. If you want something to do other than visit the casinos then go to Biloxi. In Tunica you have casinos and cotton. NOTHING else. Biloxi at least has some restaurants and nice tourist places to visit. If you are coming from PA you will probably go within 20 miles of Tunica and may want to stop. It is about 8 hours from Tunica to Biloxi. If you are going to stay at Tunica during a weekend make sure that you have reservations since they are always sold out. If you are coming down I-75 you will be within 3 miles of my house so stop and visit.
