Hey Brian -
I stayed at Harrahs for the Convention week (Monday to Sunday). I was originally put on the fifth floor of the Carnival tower and looked out on a straight view of the parking garage. A smallish room with no room safe.

I changed the room and was given a room in the same tower on the 24th floor and had a decent view. The climate control was not good (could not get the room cool) and had a terrible time with the keys but overall a clean hotel with good staff.

Make sure you get whatever the best tower is and you will be fine.
