Re: Slot card hunting
In Response To: Slot card disappearance ()

It came up on the slot card board - part of the problem is that new machines (especially in Vegas) are designed with all kinds of lights, bells and whistles on the top to attract attention of passing gamblers - that results in fewer of the old flat top machines where we find our booty. I found some slim pickings in places but others I did ok. You have to hit the whole casino and check out every machine. Late nights are better, and you just have to invest a lot of time and shoe leather in your harvesting. I had an hour at Suncoast waiting to meet some family and friends for the seafood buffet, and went back and forth the entire place, checking all the machines twice. Got a nice handful of the two latest types (PPC version and the cpi 2001121 kind) but could not get a millionaire card - saw two being used by little old ladies, but none abandoned. If you want cards - go to Sam's Town. It's like shooting fish in a barrel there. You can fill your pocket easily.
