I have to thank Pete Sanders ~ because although his beloved Yankees lost the World Series to our Rookie Ball Club... my Victory dinner was superb. He was a gracious and generous host... going beyond what a dinner bet should be. (hey! a burger in a bar works fine with me!

Yes... he taunted me with visons of partially cooked Chicken McNuggets and no chance of keeping the Happy Meal toy ... but reality was enjoying an awesome steak dinner (NY strips of course ), good company, some local sightseeing (I had never been to Circus Cirus) and even an effective cram-course in Craps 101.

PATIENT as a Saint, Pete is... he even kept trying to find me a $2 table... I was too cheap to play $5 After wandering though several casinos, I decided to go for the gusto and be reckless and bold - I PLAYED at a $5.00 table. (Won $40 and got the heck out of there!)
