... what a GREAT convention it was. Perhaps the BEST EVER. Convention Chairman Jim Steffner did a wonderful job picking up the pieces in mid-stream after the unfortunate death of George Conrad. I was thrilled to hear that Jim has accepted some more "punishment" again next year, by accepting the club's appointment as the 2003 Convention Chairman.

All the committees and volunteers functioned superbly!!

BTW: Next year's convention (in case no one has posted) ... will be the last week in June ... again at Tropicana.
