Going through a stack of traders to take next week, I came across a strange hot stamp on an Imperial Palace $1.

Gray house mold (TCR N1789)with Gold HS on one side and SILVER on the other. The chip shows less than normal wear, stands on edge and the Gold HS is in excellent condition. The SILVER HS shows a slight rub on the 1, but other than that is in excellent shape.

Anyone seen this before on this chip? I know sometimes the gold hs will wear down, but this stamp shows very little wear. Any opinions?
