Most of you probably already know this, but I just found some information I found interesting.
The Lion habitat at the MGM Grand has up to 6 lions daily, and are owned by feline expert Keith Evans. The lions do not "live" in the habitat, but have custom living accomodations on a ranch owned by Mr. Evans located about 12 miles from the casino.
The MGM Grand also has a working relationship with Dr. Craig Packer and the University of Minnesota lion research center. The MGM helps to fund Dr. Packers research in Africa for lion preservation.
If you have a chance to stop by the habitat, try taking the tunnel that runs through the habitat, as it will allow you to be right in the center of the "action"
