About 7 years ago while managing a paint store a gentleman was coming in on a regular basis because he was remodeling a house that he was going to retire in. We started talking and I found out he worked in LV in casino management for the past 40 years and was coming back home to retire with his wife. Well I started talking about chips and he brought me quite a few rare chip that he gave to me as a gift.

He also gave me this Desert Inn chain and medal and he told me it was given to VIP's when the Desert Inn had a re-opening after their remodel in 1976/77. He stated that VIP's that were wearing this Medal were given VIP treatment all over town that weekend.

Just for information I was wondering what this might be valued at. Any help would be appreciated.
