Unfortunately Travis; we have no control where in the thread our more recent posts will appear when responding to a post that is several days old.

In fact, what happened is that when I went to read my email... for some reason I received a notice that Scott had responded to a prior post I had made. I didn't pay any attention to the date of the notification ... and when I clicked on the link ... it took me to Scott's earlier post.... which I had already responded to.

Thinking this was a NEW post that Scott had made ... I answered it from my email link ... and not from the bb.
