I had hopes for the success of the Fantasea but after seeing the size of it and it's location I had serious doubts. Being such a small boat and it's location 4 miles down the Texas City Dyke, a location that most other than locals could find. The operation seemed too small to generate a substantial profit and I know a boat like that eats a money just in maintenance costs as well as fuel and operation. Dock fees were a huge problem the Talisman had and the Fantasea avoided them by using the Texas City Dyke, unfortunately it was half way around Galveston bay. I do have to say they DID have some really friendly people (dealers & crew) on the boat.
