Been spending the last few weeks in London doing some work. Got to get out for the past two weekends and pick up some chips from the local casinos. You need to become a member of the casino prior to entry so it is a long process.

Very interesting experience thus far. Unfortunately I didn't bring a scanner to send any pictures back, so you'll have to wait till I get home. Met the manager of one of the clubs in downtown London. He worked as a pit-critter in the early days of Resorts and is running the Gala casino in London.

Suffice it to say that living in the AC area, these casinos as slightly smaller than I'm used to. I hope to get a change to write an article for the magazine as I learn more.

Also learned a new aphorism for life in the United Kingdom: Quaint means old.
