years ago!! (And I use the term "slept" in it's broadest imaginable form). Also due to a series of thunderstorms, and full hotel rooms, and "delayed" "delayed" "delayed" "cancelled" flights.

We were "lucky" enough to get cots and pillows...a lot of people didn't get either one. People were laying down all over the place...including on the baggage conveyer belts. There was a picture in the paper the next day, looked like a homeless shelter! That was the next-to-the-last time we flew United. (Of course it took 3 days to get one bag back, and 5 days for the other). They gave us so many vouchers for that nightmare, that we gave em one more chance.

Supposed to fly out on Friday night....delayed, delayed, delayed, cancelled flight. Go back home, spend the night, back at the airport at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday. delayed, delayed, delayed, take a bus. Missed the connceting flight, finally got on another one, and ended up in Vegas 23 hours late (I think). (BTW, At O'Hare we ran into George's bosses wife....she came in on the flight we would have been on if we'd hung around the airport instead of taking the bus. The "equipment problem" that had caused the huge delay was a "protruding nipple"!! )
