Hello all,
I have been following this Hard Rock situation on the BB from the start, and have a few observations. Take it for what it’s worth, and the following is my opinion and not intended to continue the “war”……………………
Re: bam bam: .. bam bam, please do not take comments of a few, who may be jealous of your good fortune, to make your decisions about the club. Congratulations on your find, and I hope you have many more. If you thought that you caught some criticism concerning this matter, watch what happens when I post these opinions.
Re: Warwick Stone: .. From what I have witnessed about Mr. Stone’s dealings with the BB and the club, he has been going out of his way to inform people of new releases. If you remotely think that he has the last word, you are sadly mistaken. Think about it………….. Have you ever known any executive, in any large Corp., who has the only word on anything. Bashing Mr. Stone is like “killing the golden goose”. Why should he be pro-chipping if the chippers take pot shots, and make personal remarks about him??? Thank you Mr. Stone for all the support you have shown this club, and please don’t take the misguided words of a few, cloud you views of the whole.
Re: The Children of this Club: .. (If the shoe fits..........)There are some that post on the BB, and I know them as club members, that tend to speak (type) before they think. They make personal attacks on fellow club members without knowing the facts. I would suggest that they e-mail the recipient of their anger before venting on this public forum. I know there would be far less controversy and more productivity. I question the maturity level of someone, when things don’t go exactly the way they want them to, to “take their ball and go home” (selling their collection). It is their prerogative to do anything they wish to with their collection, but because a Casino did not do what they wanted them to??? I hate to break it to them, but Casino’s make decisions based on marketing skills, which they don’t possess.
