The publicity that an occasional short release of this kind creates is worth a lot more to the Hard Rock in the long run. As disappointed as I am that I may not be able to add this chip to my collection, I do see the bigger picture. Just the possibility that you could go to the Hard Rock and get lucky enough to find a chip worth 100 times it's face value, would surely make some of the general public want to visit there before they end their stay in Vegas. I mean, if I'm NOT a chip collector and I hear of this NEWLY RELEASED HR chip selling on Ebay for over $1200.00 dollars, I sure might think about going there to find one. What other casino can you walk into and find a chip like that?
