A Radio Shack TR-80 it AINT! It's a new console in DCS. Each of the 12 consoles is being replaced by one of these! TWENTY 21" TFT Flat Screens 65 million colors that can be single or can be grouped in 4's (each showing 1/4 of the total screen. I can realllly SEE the small print on the chipboard now!! It will control a section of the plant plus it comes with cameras & sound for video conferencing, intranet, Internet, internal plant television (plus weather channel), and Microsoft NT 4.0 with all the software I currently use. Basically ALL the computer systems we use rolled into one and configurable as needed. YEP, we've come a LONG way! Now to move the rest of my furniture back in. Will try to get another picture later with this thing powered up, if it’s not too dark to see. Pardon the picture quality as this was taken in pretty low light with a flash (others are still working so lights stay low). Add a few pictures on the wall & it's Home! LOL Ask SANTA for one of these next Christmas! haha BTW Best Buy won't be carrying these!
