Being a union member, I hope your post was in jest. My last place of employment would have was a living nightmare due to the management team (State job). Our union (AFSCME) did a good job and I shudder to think what it would have been like with out a union. Even as it was when our building opened up we went 18 months without working conditions and were moved from day to swing to grave at will.

Furthermore, the casino industry makes more money than even they know what to do with. Take a look at the Foxwoods - Mohegan Sun situation. There are long time Las Vegas casino industry workers moving there, because the employment packages are THAT good. Including employee only full scale health clubs, day care and other top perks.
