It is interesting to see how P.Oed everybody is over not being able to acquire this $25 Sammy Hagar chip. The comments are flying about chip collectors not collecting anymore because they can no longer have every HR chip and dealers losing customers for the same reason.

If you think the casinos are alienating the LOCAL chip collectors there in Vegas, imagine for a moment what these casinos have already done to chip collecting for the OUT OF TOWN chip collectors.

If we didn't have some of the excellent chip dealers that service this hobby, the same ones being alienated right now by these casinos - there would be no hobby.

The casinos have to stop the abuse...so that the dealers can stop the abuse...so that the collectors stop feeling abused...otherwise the hobby stops growing past a certain point because collectors won't stay in it. Sound like a familiar problem?

Perhaps some of the casino managers need to start paying more attention to casino business instead of hanging out on Ebay and dreaming about how to make a killing for themselves and their employees. It may sound harsh, but it is honest and that is how I feel.
