This one was made by David Whalen. Its good, REAL GOOD! I suspect all white ones were made by someone other than Reliable/Royce.
I have reason to believe fake brass cores have been sold into the hobby for at least 10 years. I have reason to believe there are at least two others making them at this time.
I have reason to believe a lot of people have been selling them, possibly some not even aware of it. This one has no injection nipple but David says that would be easy to do, also.
If you put this one rim to rim with a table worn brasscore you would would not be able to tell the difference except for the nipple. Rim to rim with a UNC or slightly worn one, there would be a difference because of the machine marks on the real one. David says he needs to work on this difference, a little more. Drop the two in acetone and you wind up with the fake looking no different but the real one will take a David Whalen to fix.
