I admire your convictions to honor the picket line. It is very unfortunate when people are put into the position of having to make this kind of choice. Especially when they had nothing to do with the situation.

I hope that you will respect my decision to not honor the picket line. For one, I have too much invested in the convention, to turn away from it. Rather, I would like to attend the convention and I encourage others to do so as well, to show your support for the Club and for all the volunteers who put in so much effort.

I feel for those who are going out on strike, this is a very serious matter to them. I wish that they could take a different approach so that they do not effect those who have nothing to do with their grievences. If effect, they are trying to hold us hostage. It is just not fair to involve those who are not involved.
