Hi all!!
It has been a LONG time since I have made any postings to the board, but I am still chipping! We have been VERY busy at the casino, getting ready for the grand opening which is scheduled for August 8, 2002. The hotel and casino buildings are about 98% complete, and we will begin moving machines and tables in early June. The temporary casino will shut its doors on Monday, July 8th at 2:00 am. That will give us a month to finish up!

I moved from the slot floor to the pit last August and have been having a BLAST! Now I know the kind of c**p that I have been putting pit bosses through for so many years! LOL! I get it every day!

Which brings me to my favorite subject, chips. The current Rincon rack will become obsolete the day we close (7/8/02). We will have a new Harrah's rack, including $1,$2.50,$5,$25,$100, & $500 chips. We will also have a Grand Opening $5.00 chip, with an issue of 2000. I will try to get some artwork posted as soon as it is approved for publication by the senior management. They are nice looking chips! Slot tokens will all be replaced as well, though I don't know as much about those as I used to!
