Outlook Express question

I, like most of you, have experiencec an inordinant amount of unsolicited emails recently and so far, have had all of them detected by Norton.

Now then, I can also tell by this time, which mail is infected and which is not even before I open them.

Now here is my problem. In order for me to be able trash these virus infected emails, I must first check on to it (at least once) to try to remove the email. In most cases, it works. All I do is highlight the message, give it one click (which is not enought to open it) and then the message will appear as though it was opened (in other words, the DARK printing will disappear.)

But is two cases, everytime I highlight the message, it goes through the process of norton telling me about the virus and deletes all of my open windows. When I enter Outlook again, the same mssage reappears.

How do I get rid of it?
