Well, the $100,000 Desert Inn chips recently up for auction on Ebay got Zero bids. The auctions were up for 14 days. Sample chips valued at Z3.

My question is this: Would the Chip Rack lower its rating on these chips? Or put a (*) mark next to these chips? I'm not sure what James’s book values these at. (Sorry James, I still must buy your book!)

Judging by the hit counters on each auction there appears to be a lot of interest with these chips...but not at those prices.

If the statement by the seller is correct, and there are only eight of these chips known, why wouldn't someone want to have one of these in their collection? Especially if you are a DI collector.
