yes, they absolutely exist and go on all the time. There are easily 6 Round robins (RR) going around right now as we speak. If you scroll down to other messages, you'll see some of the posts in reference to people sending them out. I know there are right now a few chip RR's, a few slot card RR's and few mixed RR's. I even think theres a token one going on too. What the chipboard here and you'll see the post when someone starts one. Just email them and tell them you'd like to be in one.
