First off, I have to say these chips are beautiful. Great job on the design. The way my friend was told by the casino personnel is that these chips were released to high rollers to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Last year the Beau did a $25 and $100 chip set for the commemoration. This year they included the $5 chip, but unk if a $100 chip was done as all of the chips have been pulled from the tables. These chips were found by complete accident. My friend was staying at the Beau and I always ask him to look for chips for me as this is my Casino of choice. He calls me the day he gets there and says he found a $25 YOH chip on a craps table! I couldn't believe it! I now make it his mission to find more. After 3 days of staying at the Beau he finds a total of (3) $25 chips. And that is after scouring all tables. Last day and he is cashing in. Goes to the cage and asks if any have been turned in. Is told that all Year Of The Horse chips have been pulled, even the $5 ones! He says, "$5 ones!?!" At which point the cage manager goes in the back and shows him the $5 design. After much convincing the manager sells him (6) $5 chips. Says these were the last of the loose ones and the rest are wrapped and "ready to go"??? It is unknown if they are being returned, destroyed, or ??? With a total of three "complete" sets I have, I am keeping one set for my collection. As I know there are a few of you that would like the opportunity so to be fair I have listed the second set on Ebay at face. As always I pay for shipping.
