I feel your pain! My wife and I used a cable modem for about 2 years before we moved into this new appartment. (Pre-new house) AFTER we moved in we found out the complex DOESN'T offer "Time Warner" cable which means no high speed access. They use a generic satalite company thats the worst I have ever seen. I can't even use AOL's high speed because we're not close enough to the sub-station. ARGGGG.. Stuck with dial up for at least 7 more months.
