Possible for Vegas residents and craps dealers in general this is seen often, but for me it's a first.

Last night I watched a fellow at Caesars Palace craps table play with two million in chips on the rail.

For example, on one point (a six) he had $10,000 on the line ($50,000 behind) and come bets of $10,000 on 4 of the other 5 numbers (with full odds) and a measly $10,000 place bet on the 5th number. He started with $52,000 across, gradually replacing the place bets with the $10,000 Come bets. Oh yeah one other point, he had the hardways covered -- mostly with $5,000 each, save the six which he bet $10,000.

Needless to say on this point a hard six was thrown.

When he left the table he colored up - with $25,000 chips. He handed $800,000 in (a marker?) and took well over $1,000,000 (2 stacks+) with him (and his armed escort, of course).

When he left the table, the table went back to what it was before he sat down - CLOSED. The table will remain closed intill he's on the plane.
