Thanks for taking the time to search for that information and for relating a connection.
The only thing that would make this better is if Lefty Grove had been the pitcher that day. I got this from my Grandfater years ago in Lonaconing, MD birthplace and hometown of Robert Moses "Lefty" Grove (also a HOFer). My Pap and Lefty were good friends and my grandparents ran Lefty's Pool Hall and Bowling Alley for a few years.
These tokens were used in that establishment.
