I have found I prefer the HP's. I did reasearch prior to buying and found HP, Lexmark, Cannon are way to close to call in quality. Since the price of the printers has come down so far and ink cartridges have stayed high I usually just throw the printer away when the cartridges go dry! Cheaper to buy a new printer than new cartdidges!
