Re: UV markings question
In Response To: Re: UV markings question ()

Archie,

Yes, I have noticed that. My list of varieties was filling up with all sorts of hard to describe "little things", like bold letters, small letters, slightly different color printing or a background field, etc. The kind of things that usually can only be seen when you have an example of each in your hand.

It was a HUGE relief when I noticed that most of these varieties also had very distinguishable UV differences. That makes them MUCH easier to describe.

I have a whole box of UV varieties in riverboat and Indian chips that I haven't put in the book or on ChipGuide.com because I hadn't yet had an adequate way to describe them and I'm just not set up, or inclined, to photograph each one of them. I'm hoping this method I'm working on will make it easier to get these varieties posted so that collectors can start adding them to their collections.
