My simple definitions???

LIMITED EDITION A chip that is produced in, specifically, limited quantities for any purpose but usually to commemorate or promote something. Perhaps, 750, 1000, 1500 or 1040 as is the case with the 4Q Tax Day Chips or 2000 for a Y2K chip.

COMMEMORATIVE A chip that is produced for the purpose of commemorating a person, place or event or to promote something but is not produced in any limited quantities and my be reproduced in unlimited quantities.
