Every time after I quit staying at the Excalibur, I have stayed at the Monte Carlo. I love it. When I go on the 4th of July I get my room on the 32nd floor facing the Bellagio. You can see the water show as well as the fireworks at the Stratosphere. Monte Carlo has some incredible dining as well. Andre's and Blackstone's are both super places to eat. The buffet is not bad either. As far as the pool goes, it's very nice. I really like the lazy river. I don't know if your parents play Tennis but the Monte Carlo also has nice courts with good instruction. After all that, you can finnish up your day at the spa. Over all it's a nice balance between the things you are looking for. By the way, try the barbecue chicken pizza at the Brew-Pub. GOOD STUFF!!!
