This has been around on eBay from about April 11 to April 25, when it will end. I never noticed it till today. Was it ever mentioned on this board?

It is fun, and it is free. Just bid on eBay, and you get a free "scratch" game with prizes. It is explained in this passage from an email I sent someone:

"...... you should get a kick out of this, Fun. Also interesting game
technology.

You can do this 5 times a day: each time you bid at ebay (up to five
times a day) ---even at a reserve auction where you bid and don't reach
the reserve, even if you bid more than once in the same auction--- a
cute, free "scrath" "gambling game" will appear on a small separate
screen. Try it. (And note that this game screen appears automatically
about 5 seconds after you bid, so wait.....)"
