I’m debating on whether I should Air-Tite Direct Fits vs. Ring Types. I think the ring types look great on tokens and strikes, but direct fits look good on chips. Are there pros or cons for or against using one or the other?

If I use a direct fit on a token/chip, will it damage the token/chip if it hits up against the edge? Do the foam rubber rings decompose after years of use? Will the rubber rings tarnish my tokens/strikes after years of use? I need the help of the experts. Thanks
