Very Limited Edition Chips

I have not spoke out against the 73 Years Of Gaming chips for several reasons.
I am now satisfied that one person got the bulk of the chips.
Best I can figure is 222 of 231 $1 chips.
10 of the 19 sets made.
I don't think we have seen a case of a NV casino making chips for one person since the Gordon Hall fiasco at Stateline and a couple of N NV small casinos back in 96/97.
The only way to stop this pratice is for collectors not to buy them.
There is no $131 face value set worth $395 the same day it is issued, IMO.
The chips were made for one person to make a killing on and anyone that buys them at any price is only encouraging the same thing to happen again.
I quit collecting the FQ's chips over the Pai Gow chips. I will now quit collecting the Opera House chips.
I had lunch with Allan Myers this afternoon. He told me the new edition of TCR went to press last night. The authors have listed this set and the previously issued Tyson sets as (*) NO MARKET.
Anyone that pays this big price might have a hard time selling them a few years down the road.
