Re: Scan of Antigua (west Indies) chips

Terry

Great stories from Antigua. I was there in 1999 and loved the island.

1. As for the Reef chips. I hope the run out next week. They were a pain in the a** when I was there trying to pick up some chips. I felt like there were 10 people watching me walk out with the chips - and this was 3 years ago.

2. Speaking of potholes and flat tires. I was there 5 days and landed 2 Flats on our rental car. The first on the way back from Half Moon Bay in the middle of the afternoon. My wife thought it was funny as I was changing the flat with the sun beating on my back. I thought it was funny when some kids walked by and looked at my wife in her bikini top and said "nice chi-chi's". vbg The second flat was at night coming back from dinner and it was dark and i was dressed up and at that point it wasn't funny to either one of us.

3. For some reason, Kings had razor sharp chips back then as well and it was standing at that point.

4. The person working the cage at St. James was very friendly and helpful. We drove there at night and indeed it was trip we'll never forget. All for some crazy chips. Outdoor restaurants overlooking the water were great.

All the chips you listed were in play at that time (1999) as well.

Even with the goats and potholes - what a great island. The C/O beach on Hawksbill was also very nice and quiet.

Enjoyed your stories - brought back fond memories.
