Did you know that the US Mint is presently selling A West Point commemmorative dollar coin? It costs $33, and I don't believe that any of them will ever circulate in change, as the purchasing value of the coin is $1. Makes you wonder why they call it a coin, and not a medal. The same could be said about other collectibles, I suppose.
