Paulson metal inlays usually have the month and year of manufacture on the inlay on one side only. This one only has the year. It's on the other side from the one you scanned, on the metal inlay under the "Reno, Nevada."

Many claim that the colors and year of manufacture make this a "bicentennial" chip, but the owners at the time claim that was not the intention.
